The FinLab Report: From Disruption to Transformation
The pandemic has had widespread impact on the operations of home-based and other micro-businesses in Singapore, with six in 10 reducing, halting or had no technology adoption in the past year. This is despite reports of how COVID-19 has accelerated digital transformation, which holds true only for the larger corporations.
In our From Disruption to Transformation report, we look at the impact of the pandemic on Singapore’s home-based and other micro-businesses, with targeted focus on if and how they have adopted technology to overcome recent challenges and accelerate transformation in their businesses. Through primary research conducted with 250 home-based and other micro-businesses in Singapore, we explore their challenges, needs and preferences in the current climate of rapid digitalisation and change, to give you a well-rounded perspective on the status of the local business ecosystem.
