We are just a few days away from Chinese New Year…
…which means it is time to indulge in some delicious CNY goodies! I’ll have to admit that I am guilty of last-minute shopping in preparation for my family reunion dinner. Thankfully, it seems that I am not the only one in this predicament, with many other shoppers sharing the same urgency. Our first port of call? E-commerce platforms. In this digital age, technology enables convenient access for lazy bums like me to do my shopping online and have it delivered to my house without having to beat crowds at the local supermarket. Even the likes of home-based bakers have also seen increased online demand for their products during this festive season.
Keen to join in the digital wave?
Witnessing their success, mummy-entrepreneurs out there may be wondering: how do I participate in this digital wave and incorporate tech solutions into my business? Fret not, for our Digital Mumpreneurs Programme, a 4-week workshop tailored to aid mumpreneurs in their digitalisation journey, will kick off in just two weeks! You can find more about the programme here.
Dealing with current safe management measures during CNY
Given that this year’s celebrations will no doubt remain muted due to COVID-19 restrictions, the question begs – how will you still be able to send and receive hongbaos to and from your loved ones? The answer: e-hongbaos! Not only will going digital save you long queues at the bank branch, but your actions will also contribute to sustainability efforts by preventing note wastage.
Sustainability is also an effort to be shared by businesses
Many business owners may not know where to begin incorporating sustainability practices given its complexity. Hence, by popular demand, we are excited to announce that we will be bringing back our Sustainability Innovation Programme (SIP) for another run, which will come back bigger and better than ever! Do stay tuned for more details coming your way soon.
In the meantime, stay safe and watch the calories on those Chinese New Year snacks!
Till next time,
Not to be missed!
