UOB FinLab was established in 2015 and is the strategic community enabler of UOB. It is dedicated to transforming and advancing small- and medium-sized enterprises’ (SMEs) capabilities in artificial intelligence (AI), digitalisation and sustainability.

With a regional presence in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam, UOB FinLab has supported and built a network consisting of more than 33,000 SMEs across ASEAN.

UOB was appointed by SkillsFuture Singapore as a SkillsFuture Queen Bee (SFQB) in 2025 to further underscore its commitment to SME development. As part of the appointment, UOB is supporting SME transformation through the UOB SME Elevate Programme.

Other signature programmes by UOB FinLab include the AI Ready Programme, Sustainability Innovation Programme, GreenTech Accelerator and Womenpreneur Programme, each designed to foster innovation, build capabilities and to catalyse growth.
