UOB FinLab Thailand is Awarded the Climate Action Award 2025

UOB FinLab Thailand has been conferred the prestigious Climate Action Leader Award 2025, presented by the Agricultural and Food Marketing Association for Asia and the Pacific (AFMA Asia) in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (UN FAO). The award ceremony was held at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok and recognized 15 exemplary organizations from across Asia for their outstanding contributions to sustainability and climate restoration.

The Climate Action Leader Award is one of the region’s highest recognitions in environmental responsibility, spotlighting organizations that demonstrate clear leadership in combating climate change. The award criteria include the presence of a robust sustainability policy, verifiable implementation of initiatives, measurable environmental and socio-economic impact, transparent disclosure of sustainability performance, and internationally recognized achievements.

UOB Thailand stood out among over 100 nominees for its integrated sustainability approach that aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action. The bank has implemented forward-looking strategies that not only reduce its environmental footprint but also support green finance, sustainable investments, and climate-conscious banking solutions for its clients and partners.

UOB Thailand’s award reinforces its regional leadership in sustainability and strengthens the bank’s resolve to drive impactful climate action across ASEAN. The Climate Action Leader Award serves as both a celebration of progress and a call to action for more organizations to place sustainability at the heart of their business models.
