The UOB FinLab Sustainability Innovation Programme (SIP) helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) transition into sustainable and green businesses by embedding sustainability into their core operations—while maintaining profitability and productivity.
Co-developed with Ngee Ann Polytechnic as part of the SkillsFuture Queen Bee initiative, the SIP brings together industry expertise and academic insights to guide SME leaders through the evolving sustainability landscape.
Through practical knowledge, actionable frameworks, and hands-on experience, participants will be equipped to build resilient, future-ready businesses aligned with Singapore’s green agenda and global sustainability goals.

What is the UOB FinLab Sustainability Programme?
The Sustainability Programme (SP) is a 2-week programme curated for SMEs to be equipped with the knowledge, tools and strategies to transform into sustainable businesses. It consists of four one-day courses to address critical topics such as ESG reporting, carbon management, sustainable finance and innovative business strategies.
Who should attend the programme?
The programme is open to business owners, founders/co-founders, key-decision-makers, and/or sustainability/business development/marketing functions who can play a part in driving sustainable change within the organisation.
What topics are covered in the programme?
The programme covers four main areas: carbon management, sustainability reporting, waste management, and building a sustainable future for SMEs
What are the key benefits of participating in the programme?
Participants will gain applicable and practical knowledge through the unique case study format that this programme offers, allowing participants to pick up theory. as well as practical skills.
How is the programme structured?
The Sustainability Programme is structured around four individual courses. You are strongly encouraged to apply and go through all 4 courses for the programme to have a comprehensive understanding and develop a sustainability strategy for your organisation.
Do I have to pay to join the programme?
Each course costs $500 before subsidies. There are subsidies of up to 90% for eligible Singapore Citizens / Permanent Residents. More details here.

You may select the course(s) which are available and of interest to you.
