Marianne is a dynamic professional with over 14 years of experience in innovation, sustainability, and banking.
Currently, she is the First Vice President of Innovation Lab and Partnerships at UOB and the Programme Director of The FinLab, UOB’s innovation accelerator. She leads key initiatives in sustainability, innovation, and regionalisation, driving impactful strategies across the ASEAN region.
Before joining UOB, Marianne was the Assistant Director of Sustainability and Open Innovation at SP Group, where she played a pivotal role in managing a global energy programme, overseeing investments in several global funds, and leading the Group’s sustainability reporting efforts.
Marianne also served as the Director of Ecosystem Development at the Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE), where she has extensive experience in the startup ecosystem in Singapore and beyond. She led a cross-functional team to develop strategies, initiatives, and programmes that helped startups scale and expand internationally.
Before delving into innovation and sustainability, Marianne was working in private banking and wealth management at HSBC and Julius Baer.
Mariam Jaafar is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications and Financial Institutions practices, with over 18 years of experience, working with clients across the US and Southeast Asia. Her recent focus has been on helping clients respond to and pursue opportunities created by digital disruption and leading the wealth management segment for BCG across Asia-Pacific as well as the Women@BCG initiative in Southeast Asia.
Before joining Boston Consulting Group’s, Mariam held leadership roles at Barclays Wealth Management and began her caeer at Vertex Management, overseeing venture capital investments. She also serves on the Committee for the Future Economy and the board of Singapore’s GovTech.
Belinda is the Co-founder of Innovez Engineering, bringing over 20 years of professional experience. She began her career in consumer banking at Citibank and HSBC, where she developed expertise in customer segmentation, analytics, and portfolio management and profit and loss oversight. During her time in banking, she led co-branding and partnership initiatives, driving strategic branding and marketing campaigns that contributed to significant business value and growth.
For the past 15 years, Belinda transitioned into the construction industry, co-founding Innovez Engineering which specialises on swimming pool construction. She has led Innovez through the successful completion of landmark projects like the SkyPark Pool at Marina Bay Sands, the OCBC Aquatic Centre at Singapore Sportshub, and luxury residential pools at Les Maison Nassim. Under her leadership, Innovez has expanded internationally, managing projects in Indonesia and India. Her extensive experience in both corporate and SME settings enables her to provide a unique blend of strategic foresight and hands-on operational management, spanning functions such as HR, accounting, and business planning.
Bridget is an experienced business leader with a deep passion for supporting dancers and fostering a healthy sustainable dance lifestyle. She is the executive director of Sonata Dancewear, a leading Singapore dancewear distributor with a presence in over 10 countries with offices in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. She is dedicated to transforming Sonata Dancewear into more than just a brand — creating a thriving community for dancers worldwide.
