With a selective intake of just 40 businesses, this comprehensive programme enhances critical skills like strategic planning, financial management, and digital adaptation. It aims to inspire innovation and resilience, fostering a community of empowered women driving digital success.

Female entrepreneurs/business owners/managerial positions who own or manage small to medium enterprises (SMEs)

The programme will focus on enhancing critical skills such as strategic planning, financial management, and digital adaptation through learning from industry leaders, interactive workshops, mentorships and networking with like-minded businesswomen

Angeline has more than 25 years of finance professional experience, with senior finance roles in the last 10 years with technology industry. Her tenure with SAP span over 15 years in various roles across commercial finance and accounting, with latest roles as Greater China CFO, supporting annual revenue of over €700m and Global Head of Cash, responsible for accelerating cash inflow for approximately €40bn.

Throughout her career, Angeline took on regional and global roles allowing her to live and travel to various locations. She spend more than ¼ of her career working and living in US and China. The overseas living experience and global exposure strengthen her perspective and provide valuable insights to business culture in different countries.

Over the years, Angeline is known to be an entrepreneurial-minded finance leader with good business acumen and adaptability to business dynamics. Candice’s first two years with UOB started with service roles at the Marina Bay Financial Centre and Main branches of the bank. She subsequently moved on to the Self-Serving Banking department and the FinTech and Innovation department (Strategy and Projects), before moving on to her current role as the youngest west region branch manager in UOB (Clementi Branch). To date, Candice has donned UOB colours for 13 years.

During her tenure, Candice was also UOB’s Committee Lead for 3 consecutive years for the Singapore FinTech Festival. Tom Goh

Tom Goh is a seasoned Digital Transformation Specialist with over two decades of experience across banking, technology, and telecommunications. His tenure at Citibank and Singtel, coupled with agency leadership at Ogilvy & Havas, has honed his expertise in digital marketing strategies, including SEO, social media, and mobile marketing. Tom led significant digital initiatives at Singtel and HP APAC, driving digital integration and establishing centers of excellence in digital marketing.

In his role at Hill and Knowlton, Tom developed a digital content and production hub, enhancing content strategy and distribution. He is also an educator, developing curriculum for BCG’s digital transformation programs, and conducting masterclasses as an ACTA certified facilitator. In 2010, following the birth of her daughter, Sher-li started Mums@Work (Singapore) – a social enterprise that supports women. A point of information source for women looking at flexible work arrangements and/ or starting their own business, Mums@Work is a career portal that supports more than 53,000 women. In 2016, she started a subsidiary of M@W, Career Navigators – with a focus on bringing women back into the workforce in full-time roles. Through this subsidiary, partnerships with more than 150 MNCs have been established – and various returnships and back-to-work programmes have been implemented across the years. In 2021, Sher-li launched “Singapore:40-over-40. Inspiring Women”- an annual initiative to highlight 40 women in Singapore, over the age of 40, who have started a business, restarted a career, changed career paths or created a social giveback project. The project aims to speak up against ageism and gender bias faced by women in Singapore.

As founder of Singapore’s first flexible work career portal, Sher-li has spoken to various organisations and local media on Diversity & Inclusion topics, as well as HR-related issues. She is a frequent speaker and article contributor to press and TV on topics related to new work environment, employment trends and diversity hiring. As a trained career coach, Sher-li also currently sits on various advisory boards of Singapore’s different government ministries – including the COMPASS Council (Ministry of Education) since 2017, the ACCORD Family & Community Council (Ministry of Defence) since 2019 and the Families For Life Council (Ministry of Social & Family Development) since August 2019. Kee Hian is the Managing Director of KHT and Co, and a practitioner of leading-edge knowledge, frameworks, methods and toolkits that delivers performance improvements – transformational and operational.

He is a keynote speaker on strategy and innovation, at public and in-house conferences and management retreats, conducts training workshops, and leads major initiatives to implement strategies and build innovative organisations. As an entrepreneur and intrapreneur, he creates new businesses, products and services.

In recent years, Kee Hian has worked on entrepreneurship, innovation, and growth and disruptive initiatives in emerging subsectors, markets and ventures. He has also successfully utilised his knowledge and experience from decades working with MNCs and large, more established enterprises, and applied them to the public sector, and to startups, SMEs, entrepreneurs and investors initially from a London base, and more recently in Asia-Pacific from a Singapore base.

Based in Boston, US and London, UK, he was the Founder and Global Leader of the Life Sciences and Healthcare Division, Head of the Supply Chain Management and Activity-Based Management Centers of Excellence.

Originally geared towards medical studies, Ian took on a totally different path in university and eventually embarked on a career in banking, leading countries and enabling deals across Asia, Europe and US. After leadership stints, including an overseas posting, with global banks like Bank of America Merrill Lynch and HSBC, Ian is now Managing Director and Group Head, International Management at United Overseas Bank.

In this role, he is responsible for the international banking entities, venture management and foreign direct investment advisory divisions. A certified chief master coach, Ian strives to bring out the best in people and advocates for organisations to foster strong coaching and mentoring cultures so as to thrive sustainably and purposefully.

He writes about personal inspirations, experiences and learnings which colleagues and connections may find helpful as they navigate their career and life journeys, especially in today’s “business as UNusual” environment.
